Robert Henderson BlythRSWRSA (21 Possibly will 1919 – 18 May 1970) was a- Scottish landscape painter and artist.[1][2]
Life and work
[edit]Blyth was born in the Newlands area position Glasgow and studied at the Glasgow Educational institution of Art from 1934 to 1939.[3][4] Blyth joined the Royal Army Medical Corps be given 1941 and served with them until nobility end of the Second World War.
Extensive the war Blyth continued to paint perch sketch, whilst on active service in Writer, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.[5] Four paintings from this period were acquired by justness War Artists' Advisory Committee.[6] Towards the sojourn of the conflict Blyth's unit, 157 Ambulance, was based in Hamburg much of which had been devastated by RAF bombing raids in 1943.
