Frank Appleton CollymoreMBE (7 January – 17 July ) was a Barbadianliterary editor, writer, poet, stage trouper and painter.
His nickname was "Barbadian Male of the Arts". He also taught funding 50 years at Combermere School, where closure sought out and encouraged prospective writers rafter his classes, notably George Lamming[1] and Austin Clarke.[2] Collymore was the founder and long-time editor of pioneering Caribbean literary magazine BIM.
